Drok Running with a R/W now impossible? - Guild Wars Forums

I've ran it..and ran it.. and ran it.... and I can only make it if I have the spawn where the pinesouls and Siege Ice Golems aren't right in the path after the first wurm cave.

Are there any R/W that have been ahving the same problem or am I just lame?

P.S. I use the Bold Forge Running build located on guildwiki.org

I tried around 8 times yesterday with my r/w, and once I got to the very last spawn in Lornar's, but went to far to the right there (I swear the lag did it), and the siege golem got me with deep freeze with about 10 grawls around me, whirling reloading. IMO, r/w can only make it now with lucky spawns, or extreme skill. Btw, is it just me or do pinesouls use muddy terain a lot more now?

Yeah i thought so too. Normally in the beginning with the ice imp pinesoul spawn I'm long gone before one of them casts Muddy Terrain.

ok, to save me creating a new topic, has the total forge rn beed nerfed???, i saw some one offerign 8k for a run where it was 3k at one point 0_o? any one know?

i ran it yesterday 10 times solo with my R/W using the build from Guildwiki.org but modded just a little in attributes nothing special it was purely on accident lol

i was offered by people 9-10k ea.

and who am i to deny them? lol

I got it free, a trial run.. He was pro though, I suspect he'll be making quite a bit of money by now..

I can still run it just fine with my dorky build.

Dodge
Zojun's Haste
Charge [E]
Balanced Stance
Shields Up
Healing Sig
Fertile Season
Nature's Renewal

NR can be switched out for troll unguent if you want. I forget the attribute distribution, but it shouldn't be too difficult to figure out. The trick is throwing down a spirit just outside of aggro range, letting the monsters start to attack it, then running through in the 2-3 second window where they're distracted.

its still rather easy. Only problem is the golems at the end of lonars, which is still very possible if there arn't grawl around.

Just wondering. Why would you want to run to droks still? Ever since Factions came out, and now Nightfall, isn't it pointless to run to droks since you can get max armor earlier, easier, and cheaper(because you no longer have to pay for a run)?

some ppl dont have factions/nightfall, wanna get a certain look or skill...

So I guess I just have to get smarter...If I could just klearn how to survive an onslaught from Pine Souls Ice golems 2 acervia and possible a wurm I'll be fine

also in my honist opinion forge armor is better that both factiosn and nightfall ( apprt form end misson factions, and nightfall aciant ( monk only there)
